The Button Bar 
The button bar presents a list of buttons that gives you access to common program functions: 
Open Database: use it to open another database. 
Add a New Record: use it to add a new contact record 
Delete Active Contact: use it to delete the active contact record. 
Find: use it to open the Find Dialog Box and locate a contact. 
Search: use it to open the Search Dialog Box and search for a contact. 
Sort: use it to open the Sort Dialog Box and change the sort order. 
E-mail Inbox: use it open the Inbox E-mail Window. 
Send E-mail: use it to open the Compose E-mail Window and compose a new e-mail message. 
Contact List: Use it to open the Contact List window and view the contacts in a list view. 
E-mail List: Use it to open the E-mail List window and view the e-mail messages in a list view. 
Activity List: Use it to open the Activity List window and view the activities in a list view. 
Document List: Use it to open the Document List window and view the documents in a list view. 
Filter: use it to open the Filter Dialog Box and apply a filter. When clicked, use it to remove the active filter 
Reports: use it to open the Report Dialog Box and generate a report. 
URL List: Use it to open the URL List window and view the URLs in a list view. 
Browse The Web: use it to open your default browser.

The Contact Information Area 

  • The contact information area is where you can view and edit contact information:
  • Press Tab on your keyboard to move from field to field.
  • Use the three category fields to classify the contact, choose a category from the drop down list. Edit or add new categories by pressing the button on the right of each category field.
  • Use the button to the right of the E-mail field to compose and send an e-mail message (a copy of the message will be added to the E-mail Tab of this contact).
  • Use the button to the right to each Phone field to dial the phone.
  •  Use the button to the right of the Fax field to compose and send a fax message.
  • Use the button to the right of the URL field to open your default browser and go to the  web page.
  • The Last Visited date field will be updated whenever you press the button to the right of the URL field. Use the ellipsis button (...) to make any corrections.
  • The Created Date field (on the lower part of the screen), will be updated with the date you create the contact. Use the ellipsis button (...) to make any corrections.
  • The Last Contacted date field (on the lower part of the screen), will be updated whenever you press the button to the right of the E-mail button. Use the ellipsis button (...) to make any corrections.
  • Double click inside the Description and the Comments fields to open a larger view and edit window.
  • To access useful commands in a convenient pop-up menu, right-click your mouse anywhere inside this area.
The Tab Bar 
Use the tab bar on the bottom of the main screen to navigate between the various tab pages.
