One of the better looking job sites from the UK. Work thing has now teamed up with massive European recruitment site Stepstone and consequently offers even more access to jobs than before. Covers lots of different industries and has plenty of resources.

Well organised and written advice about lots of different aspects of employment, from picking your first job to starting your own business. It is not a very in depth site but can point you in the right direction and provide some interesting ideas.

This is the website of the Careers Service National Association website. On this site you can find out the contact details of your nearest careers office, so you can contact them for advice. Some careers services are now part of the Connexions Service.

This site is a fantastic and comprehensive resource for anyone searching for good local childcare. You can search for childcare providers by postcode and a variety of childcare options are given. They also provide good advice about finding quality care.

The Daycare trust is the national childcare charity, promoting quality, affordable childcare for everyone. This is an informative site with lots of useful advice and information covering issues such as choosing and paying for care. A very good site.
