The British Council of Disabled People (BCODP) is an umbrella organisation that represents some 130+ organisations run by disabled people. These groups are mostly local coalitions working on local issue. This site can help you find them.

This site claims to be the most visited disability site in Europe. It is a very lively site packed with information and unexpected extras. It covers topics such as health, medicines, alternative cures, benefits, tips and tricks and much more besides. 
  
  RADAR
The Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation is a national organisation of and for disabled people. The website contains masses of useful information as well as links to hundreds of other organisations around the UK.
