Subtitle Processor 6 - Documentation

This document is written for SP 6.4

Subtitle Processor is tool for editing subtitles. The main purposes are:

Some of the main features are:

System requirements:

DirectShow decoder: You need correct decoders for audio and video. For example the DivX package. Best results can be achieved using the FFDSHOW (http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow) package. It is capable to play all versions of DIVX, MPEG4 and XVID, plus it is OpenSource and free. The seeking is precise and immediate. With the DivX 5.02, i was not able to do the seeking. The picture didn't get updated after seek. If you see the seeking is not working, try if it is working in Windows Media Player (6.4 preferably).

Windows 9X: Because of the rich user interface, SubtitleProcessor requires lot of system resources. Try not to run too much programs simultaneously. This resource limit does not occur on the NT architecture (WinNT, Win2000, WinXP). Although SubtitleProcessor may run on Win9X, it is no longer tested.

Note:

When the program is first run (SubtitleProcessor.ini does not exist), or the language file selected in the INI file does not exist, the default language is English. You can switch to other available languages  from the Settings screen.
