	U Switch - Digital TV This is the digital TV comparison section of the U Switch website. By entering your postcode you can find out what's on offer in your area and compare packages from different companies in detail. A useful service that will help you find the best deal.
Contact a digital TV company
	NTL NTL offer a range of digital TV, broadband internet access, phone and ISP services. They are not available everywhere so the first thing to do is check your postcode to see what's available in your area. Their service is one of the cheapest and fastest.
	Sky The best known of the digital TV providers, Sky offers a wide range of different channel packages and occasional deals on discount installations of their satellite system. You can find out all about what's on offer and compare costs of different deals.
	Telewest Telewest offer a range of digital TV, broadband internet and phone services through their cable network. They are only available in certain areas of the UK but it's easy to do a postcode check to see what they can offer you.

	Cable Guide A guide to what's showing on the majority of cable and satellite channels. You can customise the guide to show you only what's on the channels that you receive at home and read features about a number of upcoming shows.
	Digiguide This is a small downloadable program that allows you to check what's on the TV and radio on a massive range of channels. It updates itself occasionally and has full descriptions of most programmes. It is also free for a trial period. Well worth a try.
	On The Box A straightforward and easy to use guide to what's on TV. It starts by showing you the 5 basic terrestrial channels but using the drop down menus at the top of each channel you can display combinations of any five channels. Has an annoying pop up advert.
	Teletext TV Plus This part of the teletext website allows you to find out what's on now and later on any of the major terrestrial, cable and satellite channels. Also contains gossip, news and information about upcoming programs.
	UK TV & Radio Guide This is an easy to use site that provides good coverage of pretty much any channel available on any type of network in the UK. Simply select a channel from the list at the left and you will see the days listings. Also covers popular radio stations.

	DCMS - Digital TV The department for culture, media and sport provides this informative website to outline government policy on digital TV in the UK and to answer the most important questions that people have about the technology, availability and its implications.
	Free to View This site contains details of how you can view a range of subscription free digital TV channels at home. However, it is only the channels that are free, not the purchase and installation of equipment. However, if you don’t want to subscribe, look here.
