	Bartleby A fantastic site that makes it easy to find classic works of literature to read online or download for free. This is exactly the kind of thing that the internet can be most useful for and Bartleby have done a great job in creating this website.
	BUBL - Internet Reference Sources This page is a list of links to different types of reference sources on the internet. From dictionaries and thesauri to music collections and satellite images, this is a good comprehensive list and a very useful source of all sorts of information.
	Encarta Encarta is Microsoft's well known reference source. This British version is a well thought out and very useful source of a massive range of information and much better for UK users than the main American site. Full of good stuff for all sorts of people.
	NISS - Reference Sources This page is a simple but organised listing of some of the best general reference sites on the internet. There are some gems such as 'Acronym Finder' and 'Worldtime' as well as loads of others. A very useful source of reference links. Well worth a look.
	Xrefer This is a search engine for a wide variety of online reference sources. It includes encyclopedias, dictionaries, thesauri and books of quotations. Using the site is easy and fast and the results are expansive and informative. A very good reference site.
Look up world records
	Guinness Book of Records This is the online edition of the Guinness Book of Records. It requires the 'Flash' plug-in to view but once you have this, this site is an easy way to find loads of interesting and informative world records.
