Summary : eCatch is able to fill in offline forms. Among the many possibilities that feature provides, you may post on forums, consult web-based mail services, submit your site or enter queries on Web search engines...

Presentation - Back to the top !

eCatch enables you to fill in offline forms, the way you would do if you were online. Each time you fill in a specific field in a form, our software reminds you what has been typed in and submits the input text next time you connect to the Internet. Then, the software gets query results back.

Practically, each time you post a form, each information submitted is translated into URLs information ( which means information displayed is http://...). In other terms, the software displays the corresponding server answer.

In case you post twice the same form (let's assume you entered twice similar queries), eCatch ready for answering tells you information is already stored and displays it.

eCatch does not manage yet Secured Socket Layers, so that it may be advised not to type your credit card ID in a form subsequently displayed by eCatch (irrelevant to the SG2 Secure Registration Desk).

Notes - Back to the top !

  • You can post any form by choosing to refresh the downloaded query result on demand. Our top priority is to avoid you from posting several times the same form. Despite of what we stated, it relies on you whether or not you post by mistake a form several times. To put it in a nutshell, once you receive the form answer, your ability to perform downloads determines to what extent you wish or not to change form answer properties. Let's have an example : you might be eager to refresh retrieved form answers once a week or not.
  • You can submit your site to several search engines and even submit it automatically with a chosen frequency update. Whatever you want eCatch to perform, don't think it is able to fry fishes anyway...
  • eCatch knows what Get and Post means : in case you Post a form, fields are enclosed with the URL preceded by the "??" symbol. In case you post twice the same form, eCatch symbolizes form postings that way to point out at the directory where query results are stored.
