Window Menus
Every job window in the Csound Shell contains the same set of menus (albeit with slightly different shortcuts). Options windows do not have menus.

File Menu

The File menu offers operations that create new jobs, open files containing saved jobs, close job windows, save jobs, and quit the Csound Shell.

New > Synthesis
Creates a new, empty synthesis job. In a Synthesis window, this item is associated with the Command-N shortcut.
New > HF Analysis
Creates a new, empty heterodyne filter analysis job. In an HF analysis window, this item is associated with the Command-N shortcut.
New > LP Analysis
Creates a new, empty linear predictive analysis job. In an LP Analysis window, this item is associated with the Command-N shortcut.
New > PV Analysis
Creates a new, empty short-time Fourier analysis job. In a PV Analysis window, this item is associated with the Command-N shortcut.
New > CV Analysis
Creates a new, empty Fourier analysis job. In a CV Analysis window, this item is associated with the Command-N shortcut.
Open…
Displays a file selection dialog. After you select a saved Csound job file, it is opened and displayed in a new window. The submenu behind this item lets you quickly open jobs that were used recently.
Save
Saves the current settings into the file associated with the window. If you haven't yet saved the job, the behavior of this menu item is the same as that of Save As….
Save As…
Displays a file selection dialog. After you select a directory and file name, the current job is written into the file you indicated.
Revert
Discards all changes you have made since the last time the current job was saved to a file. If the job was never saved or modified, this menu item is inactive.
Close
Closes the window in which you selected the menu item. If you made any changes and did not save them into a file, you will be prompted and given the choice of discarding the changes, aborting the Close operation, or saving the changes.
About Csound…
Selecting this item shows some highly interesting information about the Csound Shell.
Quit
Closes all open windows (after checking for unsaved changes, as described under Close).
