Webcelerator is automatically launched when you restart your computer the first time after installing Webcelerator.   It will continue to launch on restart unless you disable this option through the Working Environment sub-window of the Settings window.  

Webcelerator operates in the background.  You will see our program icon in your tray, but you may remove that through the Working Environment window if you choose.   With the tray icon's right-click menu you will have an easy entry point into the Webcelerator interface.  A double-click on the tray icon will display the Webcelerator monitor.

Standard procedure to access the Internet with Webcelerator and your browser:

1. Dial up your Internet service provider.
   You may have an auto-connection through your browser which will automatically dial when your browser is launched.
   
2. Ensure that Webcelerator is running.
   Start Webcelerator from the Program menu when necessary.
3. Use your browser.
   If your auto-connect has failed to dial the Internet, use the Connect to Internet option from the Webcelerator tray icon's right-click menu.

When your browser is opened, Webcelerator will use it own homepage. To continue enjoying the benefits of your free Webcelerator you must leave the homepage set to Homepageware.

After starting Webcelerator you may set the cache size according to your needs.  Find the Settings window through the Webcelerator program menu entry.   You may also wish to enable prefetching which will provide the fastest browsing available.   Prefetching will fetch links on your browsing page as if you had clicked on them yourself and put those pages into your cache.  We do not have prefetching "on" by default for the benefit of those who pay their Internet Service Provider for the amount downloaded.   If you are not in that situation, we highly recommend using prefetching.   It is easy to turn on prefetching through the right-click menu of the tray icon.

Whenever Webcelerator is not running you can restart it through your Windows Program menu using either Webcelerator Monitor or the Settings window.  Use of either interface will launch Webcelerator if it is not already running.
