Using Forms

Forms are generally only used by people with knowledge of CGI programming. However with Splash! all you need to do is drag and drop the fields onto the page and let Splash! worry about the rest. If you have a purchased version of Splash! you can use the script on the Splash! server. If you're using the demo then you'll need a script from your ISP. (A script makes sense of the data entered into a form, and sends the information to an e-mail address or file - it's the CGI bit.)

You can place different types of form objects (text fields, text windows, check boxes and radio buttons, for example) onto the Splash! Web Author canvas and make sending information from the visitor back to you or to anyone else a simple task.

Now were going to add a range of these form objects onto the Splash! canvas.
