Copying and Pasting Objects
Of course at the moment we've only linked to blank pages as we have yet to place anything on their canvas. We want the pages to look consistent and so we'd like to have the two images on each of the other four pages and we'd like them to link to all the same places. We could go through and re-insert the image on each page and spend time re-applying the links but a quicker way is simply to copy the images and paste them onto the canvas of each page.
- right click on the image at the top of the page and select copy.
- use the arrow buttons at the top of the page to navigate to the next page.
- right click on the blank canvas and select paste. Drag and drop the image into the top left hand corner.
- navigate to the remaining pages and paste the image.
- now copy and paste the second image into all the pages.
Now all the pages have a consistent look and feel and the basis of the navigation for the example site is in place. Preview the site and navigate your way around just to make sure nothing has been forgotten.
It's not just images that can be copied but joined objects, text objects, table objects and more!
