Adding Objects to a Table

Now you have inserted a table on to the Splash! canvas you will want to put something in it. Just about any object can be placed into a table by simply dragging and dropping it into the appropriate cell using the cross hairs.

  • right click your mouse on the canvas and select Insert Image from the Edit shortcut menu.
  • Select browse and open ..beam\tutor\objects\broom_and_pan.gif. Click OK in the image edit window.
  • drag and drop the image into the top left hand cell of the table. (as outlined in the Images lesson)
  • now insert and place the image ..beam\tutor\objects\hand_wash.gif in the bottom left hand cell.
(You may be asked if you wish to make the cell large enough to accommodate the image, just click OK to change both the width and then the height)
