  Caring Matters
Caring Matters is a national charity set up to help patients, carers and professionals make informed decisions about long-term care. This site contains a lot of very useful information and links. Can be slow to download but is worth the wait. 
  
  Youth Information
A site run by the National Youth Agency. The best way to search for an organisation is to click on one of the topics in the left hand column, then use either of the two menus to find a range of organisations, as well as some information about the topic.  
  
Find your local advice centre
  Brook Online
This page gives details of the Brook Advisory Service nearest you. They provide free, confidential sex advice and contraception to all young people. Click on the Brook Guide button on the left to find out what happens if you contact them. 
  
  NACAB
This is a great website that offers a fantastic service. You can use this site to find out where you nearest citizens advice bureau is and use it to get advice about all sorts of things. There is also information about a range of related issues. 
  
  The Site - Info In Your Area
This website has a huge UK database from which it will identify your nearest advice and information centre or support service on one of a wide range of topics. It can be a bit slow to come up with the results, but worth waiting for. 
  
Get advice online
  Advice Guide
Advice Guide gives you basic advice and information on your rights. It can provide you with a broad outline of where you stand and what you can do. Excellent as a first step in understanding your rights. 
  
  Doctor Ann
This is on the website of the Teenage Health Freak. From this page you can read the advice that has been given on a large range of health and well-being issues. 
  
  Mind Body Soul
A site aimed at 14-16 year old giving basic advice about a range of health issues such as drugs, mental health, sexuality and sunbathing. The information is clear and in easy chunks with pop-up boxes to explain certain words. 
  
  There For Me
This is an NSPCC site set up especially for 12-16 year olds. You can get on-screen advice about all sorts of problems, or you can email or phone for private advice, or write to the agony aunt and read about problems online.

  Childline
ChildLine is the free, 24-hour helpline for children and young people in the UK. Advice and support about a wide range of issues from abuse and bullying to stepfamilies and stress.

This is a links page that takes you to websites and helplines of support organisations under a range of topics such as alcohol abuse, divorce, sexuality and runaways. 
  
  NSPCC - Helplines
This page of the Kids’ section of the NSPCC site, will take you to details of the telephone helpline, what it’s for, when it’s open and what happens if you ring it. There are also details of the email advice service and a link to advice on bullying. 
  
  The Samaritans
Possibly the best known telephone helpline. Click on the words in bold on this page to find out how to ring Samaritans, how to contact and visit your local branch to talk to someone in person, how to text them and how to email. 
  
  The Site - Helplines
This is the page that gives the telephone details of help line services organised under different headings by this youth information and advice website. Headings include sex, relationships, health, money, drugs, housing and more.
