PACT Ghosts 98 is a rich collection of ten Windows 95/98 or NT system management
utilities. You can save time: Open system
folders directly, open RegEdit at the Key YOU want, enter the exact size of a window as a
number, shutdown or power-off with one click or hotkey, copy and rename folders in one
step, and start all applications automatically per timer.
And relax: Included is a practical
application launcher, tools to set the file times created, modified, and last accessed, to
set the desktop icon text color, and to save your desktop icon layout. All tools accept
command line options for easy automation.

PACT Timer 98 is an easy to use and powerful scheduler to start
applications, open documents or Web pages, set a reminder or just count the days, preview
exact moonphase with animation. Only 112 KB size. Start once, countdown, recurring, or
start after logon. Runs on Windows 95, 98, as well as on NT. Set priority, window size,

Sets the size and position of a window you can point on. This is helpful, for example, if
you want to see how your homepage looks at 640x480 on a small (notebook!!) screen. Or, to
position windows quick and exactly. Set Notepad, your Browser window, or favorite program
to where YOU want it. Now with automatic shortcut creation and a tool to get a window's
title or current position.

This useful tool enables you to jump to a user defined registry key per shortcut, 
tray icon menu or dialog box. Save up to five
different keys for quick access. This is an astonishing, not previously available
function.
You can create a shortcut to jump directly to a registry key. Control panel to set and
save keys, create shortcuts per button click, jump to your most used registry keys.

This novel tool can set the desktop icon text color, the desktop icon text background
color, and is even able to set the desktop icon text background to transparent!!!
Since Windows does not allow to set these values, it creates a shortcut in the Startup
menu to set your preferred color scheme at Windows start.
You can also create your own shortcuts to change to different colors as you like. A
very interesting, handy tool, with a functionality not possible before!

The SL 98 Classic Edition has the core functionality of Save Layout. It saves your desktop
icon layout - as easy as before. It does not, however, include any add-ons. Many users and
administrators asked for a version with this streamlined functionality, here it is!
SL 98 is just one successor of v3.02. All features of v3.02
incarnated in applications now included in PACT Ghosts 98. They
build on top of and enhance the functionality of the previous version, providing for a
more stable, easier to use feature set:

Batch capable backup program. Copies folders to a second backup folder and there renames
the folder by adding the month and date, and if necessary the time. This way it is easy
for you to follow the evolvement of your most important documents.
