ALWAYS check the GUIDE LINE at the bottom of the screen for hints at all times,
it also shows the distance from the starting point when drawing the external walls.

HOW TOà..save & access drawings
When Auto Save is ticked in the File menu- ( it toggles on/off ) drawings are automatically saved, whenever you finish using a function - click saving drawings
To access previously drawn files, select FILE / OPEN - there is no need to close the file
you were working on
To change the file name select FILE / SAVE AS
To auto scroll - hold down the left button and move cursor to edge of screen
HOW TO .....delete
last item - unless an external wall select the UNDO icon
external walls can only be deleted using WALLS and BASE / DELETE EXTERNAL WALL
delete earlier items
HINT Once you have a basic layout, quickly draw as many variations as you like by
using file/save as and nominating a different name for each variation you want to try
TROUBLESHOOTING External Wall Marking
ALL EXAMPLES :-
finish marking walls by pressing enter exactly back on the original start point,
otherwise the programme will not continue because it will not know you have finished
marking the walls. Use the cursor position box and guide line numbers.
LAYOUT DESIGN ROOMS EXAMPLE - marking walls in room layouts
To check rooms are exactly on boundaries, move the room (right mouse Button )
slightly inside the bounding rectangle and release the button.
Mark the INSIDE line of your external walls, (use the arrow keys to finetune the
cursor position ) clockwise Finish back at the original start point
EXAMPLE 2 all base external walls either horizontal or vertical (as seen on the screen)
You should mark the external walls Outer line in a clockwise direction >
Finish back at the original start point
EXAMPLE 3 some angled external walls in base
Use the æaÆ key to toggle between arrow direction keys working for finetune or input
Finish at the original start mark ( showing 0 h 0 v on the guide line if last wall is angled)
otherwise the programme will not continue because it will not know you have
finished marking the walls
