For some editing functions, you must select the objects which you want to use for the action. QCad offers many powerful selecting tools. You can use all of them for one selection and proceed with the editing function afterwards by clicking on the "Enough" button: |

Click to deselect all objects of the drawing. |

Choose this tool to select single objects by clicking on them. If the object you click is already selected, the object gets deselected. |

This tool makes it easy to select closed contours. Click an object of the contour and the whole contour gets selected. If the object you click is already selected, the contour gets deselected. |

Click the two corners of the area. All objects which are completely inside the area get deselected. |
