  UK Politics Brief - Pressure Groups
This is an unattractive but simple to use site that lists pressure groups in the UK and links to each of their websites. The groups are listed by their interests so it is easy to find each type of group. 
  
  UK Politics Directory
This site contains is a comprehensive source of links to political organisations within the UK and abroad. It has links to political groups of all kinds, businesses, the media, current issues and the government. A very useful resource 
  
Contact your MP
  Electoral Commision
The Electoral Commision was established as an independent body to oversee donations to parties, campaign spending and to promote the electoral process. You can find out your constituency and who your MP is as well as finding out how to register to vote. 
  
  Epolitix - Webminster
This section of the excellent Epolitix site is the biggest collection of MP's websites on the internet. You can access all sorts of information about each MP and find contact details for each one. A useful, informative and detailed source of information. 
  
  Fax Your MP
This fantastic little site allows you to compose a letter that will then be faxed to your local MP. Best of all this process is completely free! It also allows you to read recent speeches and see your MPs entry on the register of interests. 
  
  How to Contact an MP
This site tells you exactly how to go about contacting your MP through the house of commons. Straightforward and easy to understand with the useful addition of tool to help you find out exactly who your MP is in the first place. 
  
  List of MPs
This is an alphabetical list of all the members of the British Parliament, along with a link to their websites where applicable and in most cases, a link to somewhere from where you can email your MP directly.

  BOPCAS
The British Official Publications Current Awareness Service is the place where for a fee you can browse over 23,000 references to key British Official Publications from July 1995 onwards. This is a huge resource and is updated very regularly. Amazing. 
  
  Central Office of Information
The COI is responsible for organising the majority of the government's press and publicity. The most useful thing on their site is access to government press releases from departments agencies and other organisations, which can make interesting reading. 
  
  Commons Library Research Papers
From this site you can download the PDF versions of research papers prepared for the government as far back as 1998. They cover many different issues and can provide interesting insights into what has influenced government policy. 
  
  UK Online
This website is an interactive portal to UK Government services in your area, including links to Government department and agency websites. It also includes a feedback forum where users can express their views on Government policies.
