	Conservative Party This is the official site of the Conservative Party. Read all about policies, initiatives and the activities of the party in Britain.
	Election World A massive database of governments and political parties worldwide. This is a really good site that is easy to use and hugely informative. Searching for country specific information is easy and each country's section is linked to other useful material.
	Green Party - England and Wales This is the official site of the English and Welsh branch of the Green party.
	Labour Party The official site of New Labour. Here you can find a wealth of information about policy, party activities, membership and much more besides.
	Liberal Democrat Party This is the official site of the Liberal Democrats. Read about their policies and ideas for the future of Britain.
	Plaid Cymru This is the official site of the Welsh party Plaid Cymru.
	Scottish National Party This is the official site of the Scottish National Party

	Epolitix - Webminster This section of the excellent Epolitix site is the biggest collection of MP's websites on the internet. You can access all sorts of information about each MP and find contact details for each one. A useful, informative and detailed source of information.
	Fax Your MP This fantastic little site allows you to compose a letter that will then be faxed to your local MP. Best of all this process is completely free! It also allows you to read recent speeches and see your MPs entry on the register of interests.
	How to Contact an MP This site tells you exactly how to go about contacting your MP through the house of commons. Straightforward and easy to understand with the useful addition of tool to help you find out exactly who your MP is in the first place.
	List of MPs This is an alphabetical list of all the members of the British Parliament, along with a link to their websites where applicable and in most cases, a link to somewhere from where you can email your MP directly.

	BBC News - Politics This is the UK politics section of the best news site in the UK. You can get all the latest news and analysis, take part in discussions, listen to the news online, get political gossip, read special features and access links to other BBC sites. Excellent.
	Central Office of Information The COI is responsible for organising the majority of the government's press and publicity. The most useful thing on their site is access to government press releases from departments agencies and other organisations, which can make interesting reading.
	Epolitix - News All the latest political headlines and news can be found on this excellent site. There are loads of well informed and clearly written stories to read through and each story is linked to other relevant materials. This is online political news at its best.
	The Cabinet Office This site is intended to provide fast and simple access to everything that the cabinet office publishes. It has information about the working of government, policy initiatives and the members of the cabinet as well as links to other government websites.
Start or sign a petition online
	Go Petition Create a petition online on pretty much anything you want. This site has a specific UK section but also has other global areas so you can reach people all over the world. You can get help with creating petitions and managing any petitions that you start.
	Petition Them A good site that lets you set up petitions with potentially unlimited reach, on almost any issue. You will get help managing any petitions that you create and you can read or sign any other petitions that exist on the site.
	The Petition Site A large range of different petitions to read and sign, covering loads of different environmental, political and human rights issues. An interesting site.
Vote on something online
	Vote Vote online on current political issues, discuss the results, and send mail to parties and politicians. A really good way to have your say and let people know what you think.
	You Gov A website all about voting on current issues and gauging people's opinions on loads of different topics. Perhaps the best thing is that you can be paid to vote, and the results of the polls are used by both politicians and businesses on a regular basis.
