By simply entering your postcode, you will be given an up to date guide to some very detailed information about your local neighbourhood. Includes property prices, local services, local government, childcare, employment and much more besides. 
  
Find voluntary work

The National Council for Voluntary Organisations is the umbrella body for the voluntary sector in England. There are sister organisations in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The site is full of useful news and resources for voluntary organisations.

The website of the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations. Here you can find all the latest news and information concerning the voluntary sector in Scotland. Includes loads of useful links to other relevant sites.

The Community Relations Council provides grant aid and advice to voluntary and community groups in support of projects which have a community relations purpose or value. Find out more here. 
  
  DTLR - Neighbourhood
This part of the Department for Transport, Local Government and the Regions website provides information about the Neighbourhood Renewal Unit and the work that it is undertaking to regenerate deprived areas of the country.
