Get involved in inter-faith dialogue
  Beliefnet
A good directory of online resources, information and websites covering a wide range of beliefs and religions. Well organised, regularly updated and easy to use.

  NAIN - Links
This is the links page of the North American Interfaith Network. Although some of the sites listed here are a little too specifically American, there are some very useful links here where you can find informative resources and some interesting reading.

The Council of Christians and Jews
CCJ brings together the Christian and Jewish communities in a common effort to fight the evils of prejudice, intolerance and discrimination between people of different religions, races and ethnic backgrounds.

The Interfaith Network for the UK
This organisation is at the centre of interfaith work in the UK and promotes good relations between the communities of all the major faiths in Britain: Baha'I, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jain, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, and Zoroastrian.

  Bahai
The Bahais have a kind of combined faith which encompasses most of the religions listed here. This is their central website. Interestingly, unlike a lot of other religious sites they don't have any links to other faiths - but maybe that's the point!

  BBC guide to world religions
Takes a bit of limited view of the number of religions in the world - apparently there are just six - but it is a typically good BBC starting point for Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, Sikhism, which covers most UK religious faiths.

  Buddhist Net
Here you can access a range of online resources relating to Buddhism. Thee are listings of monasteries, meditation centres, courses, publications, organisations and links to a number of Buddhist sites worldwide.

  Catholic online
A comprehensive service for catholics, with portal and other services that will enable you to follow through pretty well any interest in Catholicism. A good starting point because of its internet awareness.

  Chief Rabbi's website
Sitting at the centre of Judaism in the British Commonwealth, this is another good starting point. Good content, but a pointlessly long download time for its homepage!

  Church of England
Official, and very straightforward site about the nation's established church. Will certainly tell you what you need to know. Some slightly bizarre looking images of mitred clergy who look like the might be floating in cyberspace!

  Hindu Net
An astonishingly full site pointing you at pretty well everything you'd want to know as Hindu or an enquirer.

  Introduction to Buddhism
Excellent site for finding out more about Buddhism - only downside is some maudlin new-agey musak which loops on and on and on and on and on and

  Muslim Directory
By registering for this site (for free) you can access their database of websites, organisations and mosques. The mosque directory is very comprehensive and is one of the best places to find information for the Muslim community.

  Sikhism
This site provide a thorough introduction to Sikhism, and has a good set of links under its resources section.

  SpiritWeb
An interesting site promoting an approach spiritual awareness outside the orbit of traditional religious belief and observance.

  Zoroastrianism
This site certainly offers an entry point to Zoroastianism. The links page opens the subject out more. This site has been chosen because it also links to sites of people who have different views from its authors.
