New Search Dialog
By this dialog, you can select the directories you want to scan and input extension filters, and then do a new search.
behaviors of Directory ListBox: The directories in the Directory ListBox will be alphabetized in ascending order according to their name. when you add a directory, if it is one of the directories having been added or their subdirectories, it will fail to be added, and a ToolTip will appear and show the reason directory; if it contains some directories having been added, those directories will be removed and it will be added successfully; if it hasn't any relations with the directories having been added, it will actually be added; if it is not a real directory, a ToolTip will appear and prompt that it doesn't exist.
Operations of Directory ListBox: It responds to the keyboard actions (up, down, page up, page down, home, end, shift, ctrl, delete), (up, down, page up, page down, home, end) controls the item selection, (shift, ctrl) can compound mouse actions for multi-selecting, (delete) will delete the selected item.
If there are directories in the tab Default Search Directory in the Options Dialog, theywill fill the Directory ListBox automatically.
The search path input box is a dropdown combobox. It would list recent search paths, up to 10 entries.
You may select the extension filters by the Select File Type dialog, or you may input the extension filters by yourself, with the format "ext1 ext2 ext3", interval with space.
CloneSensor doesn't search the Read-only, Hidden and System files by default. You can choose the file attributes (Read-only, Hidden, System) to search, but attention, the system files and directories are normally marked and used by system, if you delete a system file or directory, your system maybe crash. Also, if the hidden files and directories are marked by system or other softwares, they maybe store the special information used by system or other softwares, delete those files maybe let system or other softwares function not right.
You may filter files by size, as long as you check the checkbox "more than" and "less than", and fill the size you want.
Options Dialog
The behaviors and operations of the Directory Listbox in this dialog are the same as those in the New Search Dialog.
Default Search Directory
Select the default scan directories, they will appear in the New Search Dialog by default.
Tips: You join the directories you often scan to the list, such as "D:\Incoming", "D:\Collection\Picture", "D:\Collection\Music", "D:\Knowledge", and so on. And when you want a new search, just eliminate the directories you don't want to scan.
Default Preserve Directory
Select the default preserved directories, CloneSensor would set the state of the files in these directories to the preserved state automatically after the scan task was completed.
Tips: You may join your collection directories to the list, such as "D:\collections", "D:\knowledge", and so on.
Default Delete Directory
Select the default deleted directories, CloneSensor would set the state of the files in these directories to the deleted state automatically after the scan task was completed.
Tips: You may join your new incoming directories to the list, such as "D:\Incoming", and so on.
Tips: If you have joined some default deleted directories, when you do the ".
Delete Option
Choose the processing mode to the deleted files.
Color Scheme
Choose the interval background color in the File ListView (See Special Grouping Modes).

File Context Menu
Set the item of the submenu
. The first submenu item is , choosing it will open the selected file with the default file association. The other submenu items can be set here, include their name and the path of the execute file, choosing these menu items will open the selected file by the execute file you had set.You can set a maximum of ten submenu items. These menu items would appear in the submenu
only when the checkbox at the leftmost was checked. The menu name is filled in the textbox at the middle. The next textbox fills the path of the execute file. You can also you click the button at the rightmost and select the execute file in the File Open Dialog.Delete Confirm Dialog
CloneSensor support the function that you can manage the files of the certain state first and manage the rest next. When you click
on the toolbar, the Delete Confirm Dialog will pop up, Include two check options below:- Include the file, it and its duplicate files all had been marked cross
. (To uncheck this will guarantee that there is at least one copy every file.)
- Include the file, the names of it and its duplicate files aren't all the same. (To check this will guarantee that you have a chance to select a pretty name for your unique collection.)
CloneSensor will disable it if that case doesn't exist. Slighty reduce your judgement:-).
With these options before deleting, you can set your heart at rest in the usage of the batch commands!
