Creating MP3 files from CD Tracks

 

CDH Media Wizard "rips" CD audio tracks directly to MP3 format. From the main window, press F7 (or click the Conversions menu and select Convert CD to MP3) to invoke the conversion panel, a screen-capture of which is shown below. (Note that data tracks are shown with a floppy disk icon, and audio tracks are shown with a musical notes icon.)

 

 

To create a MP3 from a CD track:

• Ensure an audio CD is inserted in your CD-ROM drive.

• Select the track(s) you wish to convert from the track list.

• Click the CD-to-MP3 button or press CTRL-C.

 

Note: Use play features directly from the conversion feature for maximum efficiency. (Play, Rewind, Fast Forward, Stop, and Eject)
