Opening a new Project

Splash! creates web sites with multiple pages and stores the entire web site in a Project File. Each page of the project has an individual title and is easily accessible. To move from one page to another, use the arrow buttons located at the top left of the Splash! interface or press the shortcut button G and select a page title to be transported to.

Let's create a new project.

  • select New Project from the File menu.
(If you already have a project open, you'll be prompted to choose between abandoning the project, saving it or canceling the New Project request)
You are presented with a Page Details dialogue. For an explanation of how to fill out each field press the ? help icon in the top right corner of the window. You don't have to fill out each field, however the page title is vital and should be unique and descriptive.

  • enter "Baker's Homepage" into the Page Title field
(Now we have a project with one page)
  • select OK
