Allows to save and retrieve Readiris settings and windowing layouts and opens and saves images.
You create a new (multipage) document.
Opens black-and-white, greyscale and color images, mostly faxes.
Tip: right-click images (Context menu) in the Windows Explorer and select the command Recognize.
Tip: drag images from the Windows Explorer onto the Readiris window or the Readiris icon.
Tip: donÆt forget to enable the option Digital Camera when the images were produced by a digital camera!
Tip: the option Process as 300 dpi ignores the incorrect resolution contained in the imageÆs file header. (Some image files indicate an erroneous resolution in the file header that perturbs the recognition and ôautoformattingö.) These images will be processed ônormallyö, as if they had a 300 dpi resolution.
