: What do you people have against capitalism? McDonald's happens to be a very successful chain of resturaunts.Successful at deceiving gullible consumers about the nutritional value
of their food, perhaps. Not quite as successful in libel suits, even
when the defendants are impoverished anarchists.
: It scares me that you people are voting members of our society. It's not just McDonald's you're targeting, it's big business in general.
That is scary--people who become informed by means other than television advertising before they cast their ballots. No wonder big
business hates democracy.

It must be some other fast-food megachain selling all those cholesterol
burgers and replacing the useless rain forests with profitable cattle ranches.

We prefer to blame them for the sin of microwaved hamburgers, and leave
the sex-related horrors to the right-wingers.

: It is privately owned and opperated. The couple who own the place is not the multi-billion dollar corporation that is being attacked by this negative publisity. Yet they are being hurt by it.
More likely they're being hurt by the poor quality of the food and
service, if the messages on this board are any indication. Besides,
I thought all real "entrepreneurs" enjoyed a challenge.
: I certainly hope that you all can find your own little Utopian society where you worship the cow and live off the system. Perhaps then you can leave the rest of us alone.
We will eventually. In the meantime, it's more fun to hang around and
bother everyone in the Free Market Utopia while they're worshipping
the dollar.
