: You said it yourself. You're just a kid, so do you really think that you should be working for McDonalds? Do you think that people your age should be expected to handle the pressure and commitment of a job which can cause so much stress? I know that I wasn't and looking back on my experience I don't feel that children so young should have so much expected of them.As with any job, working at McDonald's produces some amount of stress. However, I feel, that acedemic responsibilities produce greater amount of stress. Of course I feel stressed during a rush, or when I'm alone on drive-through and everyone is stealing my fries. But in school I have to deal with teachers, tests, homework, finals, etc. And your job preformance does not determine which college you're going to. Besides, the work experience is good for you. How else am I supposed to gain a work ethic? McDonald's may pay me jack for the work that I do for them, but I am learning a great deal, like how to deal with difficult people. And I need the money to buy gas and mountain biking accessories because I'm a materialistic and greedy conservative. The point is that kids my age are perfectly fit to work in such an establishment, if anything, it's good for them.
