BullGuard - Antivirus - Scan now - Target
Tip: Use the menu in this picture to navigate in the Help-file, just like when you use the real BullGuard
The target selection option allows you to choose one or more directories that you want to check for viruses.
The Target selection window offers the following possibilities:
- Local Drives û Done through checking the "Local Drives" box.
- Network Drives û Done through checking the "Network Drives" box. Thus, each and every visible drive on the LAN will be scanned.
- Floppy Drives û Done through checking the "Floppy Drives" box.
Adding and Deleting a Directory:
A directory can be added or deleted by selecting the corresponding buttons, ôAdd folderö or ôDelete folder.ö Selecting ôAdd folderö allows you to virus scan one or more particular directories or folder(s). Selecting ôDelete folderö allows you to delete the folder(s) you just created.
Observations:
- You can give up any configured scan job. To do this, first select the directory in the scan target selection window and then select the "Delete folder" button. At this moment the selected folder will disappear from the scan target selection window.
- If you desire not to scan a folder without deleting it, you can unselect it by clicking the check box in front of the directory. It will stay in the scan target selection list and it will not be scanned but, in a future work session, you can select it using the check box in front of the directory.
- If you select the "Scan" option and you haven't chosen a scan target, the BullGuard will only check the system memory.
