OptimAccess Extension expands functions of the OptimAccess system by methods which, with its help, allow you to administrate your computer system more effectively. After the installation of the OptimAccess Extensionyou have an environment in which it is possible to modify and limit individual parts of standard "control panels" and to activate other security methods. It is easily possible to make the dialogue boxes "folder", with individual "control panels" settings, inaccessible or restricted in the following way: at the icon "printers" it is possible, with the help of OptimAccess Extension to make the icon "add printer" invisible or the folder "general" and "details", in which the given equipment are set; but the user can work with other folders (orientation and source of paper, print quality, etc). at "network" it is possible to disallow folders "computer identification, surrounding computers, file and printer sharing, access control", the icon "password", it has the possibility to disallow folders "change password, remote control, user profile", it is possible to modify the system, to disallow access to folders "virtual memory, hardware profile, system files" many system managers have less worries by hiding some icons in the "start" menu such as "run, find, control panels and printers" or to hide selected disk drives. at graphic adapter and monitor settings it is possible to hide the folder "settings" and further to hide all icons on the desktop, and restrict saving explorer window settings at exit. a practical aid is to define programs which can be run by common users.
