This brief overview tutorial introduces you to each of the main
EasyZip concepts and features to get you working productively as
quickly as possible. Note: if you prefer a strict “learning
by doing” approach, you may prefer the EasyZip Tutor, which
uses a “step by step” approach to introduce new users
to zipping and unzipping. You will get the most benefit from
these lessons if you change the size of this Help window to leave
enough room on the screen to have EasyZip opened at the same time.
As each screen describes an operation, you may want to try
certain things with EasyZip to gain an even better understanding.
You can move through the tutorial as quickly or as slowly as you
like. Important: This tutorial approaches the topic using the
main EasyZip window as its base of operations. This is not the
only way to access EasyZip's convenient features. For example,
you can use EasyZip to unzip files without leaving My Computer or
the Windows Explorer. Once you are comfortable with the basic
operations described in this tutorial, be sure to read the
sections Hints and Tips.
