Characteristic sign of this gelada is red blaze on the breasts. Males have on the back expressive longer hair, which creates mantle. Basic group consists of one male and one or more females. Family groups associate into big herd with hundred individuals, who find food together. Gelada Baboon is very rare ward of the ZOOs. We have one group with three animals - male Frick, two females tylda and Matylda.
