An adoptive parent contributes every year with a sum of money to the all-year-round payment of feeding of a chosen animal. (If the total sum of this payment is too high for an adoptive parent, it is possible to pay only such amount of money which is acceptable for him/her. In this case we can speak about a partial adoption).
This sum of money is calculated on the base of actual requirements of individual species of wild animals.
The adoptive parent receives a Certificate of Adoption which is valid for a period of one year.
Citizens, students of primary and secondary schools as well as businesspeople and larger firms may become adoptive parents.

The fulfilled form should be sent either to the address ZOO Brno ( U Zoo 46, 635 00 Brno ) or to the e-mail address zoo@brno.comp.cz. The corresponding sum of money should be sent either by a cheque or by post money order to the bank account No. 2014 - 1803076193/0300 ╚SOB CZK ZOO BRNO. As soon as your money will be booked down to our account, we shall prepare a Deed of Gift for you. This document will be issued in to copies which will be handed over to both parties. In accordance with the Czech law it is possible to deduct the sum of money given for animal protection from the basis of assessment of a legal person.

Similarly as all other zoological gardens, the Brno ZOO also looks for possibilities how to finance its activities. We therefore appreciate very much your interest and assistance. In this way you can contribute to the preservation of unique cultural values represented by animals reared in our garden.
