Green winged macaw are parrots, which has wedge - shaped tail, mostly they have very thick beak. Male and female have the same colours. Their rearing in captivity is very demanding, because they need maximum calm during nesting. ZOO Brno holds primacy in pupil of Green winged macaw in our republic. The first successful rearing was in 1974.
