Switch Quicken Online Services to Money

Why do I need to switch my Online Services?

Money offers online features similar to what you might have used in Quicken, but you need to sign up for Money services separately, because even though you receive the same information from your financial institution (Banks, brokerage houses, and credit card providers.), Money and Quicken use different file formats, and your bank needs to know which format to send.

1 Cancel your Quicken Online Services.

You will need to contact your financial institution for this information.

2 When you're ready to sign up to use Money online, on the navigation bar (The strip at the top of the Money screen where you can click to go to the different areas in Money.), click Online.

3 To find out more about banking and investing online in Money, in the left pane, click Take the Online Tour.

4 In the Online Financial Services Manager, double-click the account or financial institution you want to set up for Online Services (Services provided by your bank or financial institution that allow you to do common banking tasks from your computer via either the Web or a direct connection with them. Money offers four types of Online Services: Web banking, direct bill payment, direct statements, and online quotes.).

5 Click Investigate Offerings, and then follow the instructions on the screen.
