GenesisII Icon Bar
The various editors used to define and render a landscape are accessed from the icons down the left hand side of the screen. These are split into three groups: Basics, Advanced and Plugins.
Basic Renderering

Opens the Renderer window. This is where your landscape is drawn. | |
Opens the Landscape Editor. Use this to define your landscape's shape and import or export data. | |
This Editor controls the position of the Camera and Target on the landspace surface. | |
Use this Editor to control how the atmosphere behaves - adjust the sun's position, set mist, light decay and much else. | |
The Clouds Editor controls how much and what types of clouds are drawn. | |
Use this Editor to control your landscapes surface textures and colors. | |
This Editor controls how water looks and behaves. | |
Advanced Renderering

The Terrain Layers Editor is used to define different Terrains to control precise placements of surface colors, textures and vegetation. | |
Use this Editor to Terrains on the landscape surface. | |
This Editor defines different vegetation types. | |
.The Urban Editor defines simple urban and industrialised terrains. |
Plugins
Plugins are used to add functions not included in the main program. The plugins shown here are just a selection.
