Where is this Option? INSERT => TABLE
Tables can be of any width within the limits of the page size. For better viewing, this option allows you to change the width of the table. Height can be changed to any value. As there is no formal length to a page this can be any height required to fit objects into the tables. Defines the number of columns within a table. It can be used to increase or decrease the number of columns needed for any selected table. Allows the number of rows for any selected table to be changed. All tables have borders. This option allows the size of the border to be changed. This option is used to space the cells themselves, helping the table have more definition. The cells are padded out with blank_space by the amount selected. It can make a table look less cluttered. The table border can be turned on or off. A border can help give the table more definition, though it may not suit the style of your page. Often borders are used to arrange objects rather than separate them. For example, by turning off the border you can place columns of text next to each other by dropping each text object into a different column in the same row. This will give the appearance of a newspaper.
As with the table width this allows the cells to have individual widths, great for images of different sizes. This applies to all the cells in a column. Allows for the height of cells in each row to have differing heights. To make your table stand out from the rest of the page, you may choose to have a color applied to the table. You can even specify to have each cell a different colour. You may choose any color you like by using the slide bars, or you can choose a pre-defined color from the selection box. |
