Project Details

Where is this Option? PLUGINS => PROJECT => PROJECT DETAILS
Project details are used to configure the way splash deals with files 'behind the scenes', you do not have to change these settings. It may be useful however if you are developing multiple web pages because the following options allow you to dedicate directories to each project and thus separates the files from one project to the next. There are also 3 settings you can choose from to set the emulated width of the project. These are the 3 most common widths used for web pages. For example setting it to 800 will set Splash! to view the page as if it were being viewed at this setting by your visitor. Although it doesn't have to stay at this size, it is best viewed at this size because 800 is the most common size.

PROJECT NAME

This is the name you give to the project. This is not the same as the Filename, just another way to identify the project once it has loaded. The project name will appear as the visitors window heading on most browsers.

PROJECT PATH & SAVENAME

Setting this option will tell Splash! where to store the project and what to save it as. You can set this parameter here or you can determine the savename and destination from the save and save as options.

PROJECT EXPORT

When exporting pages, Splash! can automatically export your page wherever you like, rather than having to search all over the place and move each file manually to store your final creations. Splash! can remember exactly where your pages are supposed to go.
