GENERATING HTML
Where is this Option? FILE => GENERATE HTML
Generating html means converting it from its current state, a Splash! www file, into the standard code that the internet uses, HTML code. Your generated (exported) website may consist of several files including graphics files and files with the extension HTML.
The project should be generated to a directory that contains only information that has been generated by Splash! or is used by the website, this will ensure clarity and make uploading your website to the internet an easier task. You can select a directory to export to or you can use the Browse button to bring up a windows dialog box which will allow you to search your system.
Splash! will copy all images into the same directory and any other information it may need. However, if you have referred to images, sounds or other files from within the User Code option Splash! will be unable to export these files. To avoid errors these files must be manually moved to the appropriate directory.
