Create Virtual Volume
A virtual volume is usually created automatically when you click
your way through the partition table and the boot record (see: Mount
a Volume). An alternative is the Create Virtual Volume feature.
This advanced data recovery feature will try to reconstruct the boot sector in memory. If successful you will be able to navigate through the file system and view and save files.
To create a virtual volume go to the beginning of the drive or volume, then click Tools->Create Virtual Volume.
Press Start and the program will try to find the necessary information for the virtual volume. After a while of searching you will eventually get a message, which asks you to confirm the possible cluster size and file system start sector. If these values sound reasonable press Ok, else Retry.
If the creation of the virtual volume was successful, you will get a message accordingly.
Press Close now and try to navigate through your drive.
