Recover File 

Runtime's DiskExplorer allows for the copying and saving of files or whole directories in several ways. 

You can recover a file while in 

• the file entry view: just select the file you want to save and press Tools->Recover File in the main menu,
• the file entry details view: press Tools->Recover File in the main menu,
• in the directory view: click the "Save" label beneath the file or folder, check the "include sub directories box, if you want to recover the whole directory,
• anywhere in the data area of the file or folder: again press Tools->Recover File in the main menu, check the  "include sub directories box, if you want to recover the whole directory.

To save the file, choose the destination to save the file to, check the "include sub directories" box if you are recovering a directory and want to include the sub directories, finally press OK.

You can define a default save directory, if you don't want the recover file dialog to appear each time you save a file. Open Tools->Options, choose the default directory and select the box below. 

Note: The ability to save files is only available in the registered version of the software.
