Updater settings. Scheduled updates

Kaspersky Labs experts recommend that you schedule the program to download updates every 12 hours; during the periods of virus outbreaks the anti-virus database should be updated as frequently as possible, preferably at least once every 3 hours.

In order to schedule updating of your anti-virus database:

Click the Configure Updater link in the left section of the Settings tab.
After the Updater settings dialog box opens check the Enable automatic updates box.
Select the required updates frequency from the Update frequency drop-down list.
