Parecida a la Golondrina de Cuevas, especie residente, excepto que la frente es color ante claro y no rojiza y la garganta es castaño oscuro. Tamaño: 13 cm.; peso: 21 g. Audio (M. Oberle). Anida en gran parte de América del Norte, invernando en la América del Sur meridional. Migrador accidental en Puerto Rico (avistamiento el 6 de octubre de 2001 en las salinas de Cabo Rojo) y las islas Vírgenes. TAXONOMÍA: PASSERIFORMES; HIRUNDINIDAE; Hirundininae. |
