Ave buceadora grande y oscura, más pequeña y con el pico más fino que la Corúa Crestada. Tamaño: 58-73; peso: 1,814 g. Anida en Cuba y las Bahamas y desde Luisiana en los Estados Unidos hasta el sur de la Argentina. Un visitante raro en los humedales de Puerto Rico. TAXONOMÍA: PELECANIFORMES; PHALACROCORACIDAE. Antiguamente se le llamaba "Olivaceous Cormorant" en inglés. |
