  2.    No news is good news. So your not getting 
  3. any newsÿ because it's not easy to be 
  4. current when you're only published once 
  5. every six months.
  6.    Anywayÿ it's the end of another wonderful 
  7. year (as this is written) and as is the 
  8. custom (starting this year) I present "The 
  9. Golden Turkey awards for Absolute lack of 
  10. Excellence In Roleplaying 1990".
  11.  
  12.   First up this year is the award for "The 
  13. daftest concept in a Roleplaying 
  14. supplement". This year it goes to TSR for 
  15. their mind numbing Hollow World supplement 
  16. for D&D. The basic plot of this is a 
  17. campaign on the inside of a hollow world 
  18. (surprise surprise). (Actually I think this 
  19. is a great idea - N.Davies)(Prat -me). Had I 
  20. done this last year TSR would have won as 
  21. well with their ships in space thingÿ 
  22. Spelljammerÿ with the two types of gravity 
  23. on and off. What's that rumbling noise? Ohÿ 
  24. it's just Newton revolving.

  26.    "The Greatest Hype to be Heaped on a RPG 
  27. Award".
  28.    Torg wins this one hands downÿ a year of 
  29. ad's proclaiming this game to be the 
  30. greatest thing to happen to role playing and 
  31. it was the game PC's had been waiting for. 
  32. And what do we get all the genres mixed into 
  33. one. Ohÿ it came second for the daftest 
  34. plot.

  36.    "The Daftest Name for a RPG".
  37.    Torg wins this as well. 'Nuff said.

  39.    "The fastest re-release". Cyberpunk was 
  40. released about a year ago. The second 
  41. edition has just been released only a year 
  42. later. That's what I call fast work. Still 
  43. The first edition was full of mess ups.
  44.    RIGHT I'M BORED LET'S DO SOMETHING ELSE.
  45. What else has happened this yearÿ not a lot 
  46. that's what. It been nearly all re-releasesÿ 
  47. even Twilight 2000 (because of the fall of 
  48. communismÿ it kind of buggered up the old 
  49. cold war plot). Ohÿ there's been a load of 
  50. supplements. I nearly forgot the most 
  51. inspiring release of this year Macho Women 
  52. with Machine Guns! Wow Gosh. 
  53.    I've just been told to fill the rest of 
  54. this page by Mr Editor (fascist)ÿ now he's 
  55. telling me to delete the last bitÿ bloody 
  56. 'ellÿ and quoting me. Is there no depth's to 
  57. which he wont sinkÿ it's bribery now. Only 
  58. about seven lines now and I'm running out of 
  59. steam. I knowÿ
