  18. Here's a Windows95 tip that I wish was
  19. in one of the readme files that came with
  20. Executor.  It should help you get the best
  21. possible use out of Executor.  It did for me.
  22. (God knows I tried everything!)

  25. After trying 3 top notch Linux OS's with
  26. E/L (and E/D under DOS) I have come to the 
  27. conclusion that Windows95 is the best way
  28. to run Executor.

  30. With a shortcut on my desktop to the executor.exe
  31. file and the following "Properties" set, you can't
  32. go wrong (even with 8 meg of ram).

  34. The "Memory" tab;

  36. Conventional Memory-Auto
  37. Initial Environment-Auto
  38. Expanded(EMS)memory-None
  39. Extended(XMS)memory-None
  40. MS-DOS protected-mode(DPMI)memory-13312

  42. And these command line switches;
  43. eg: c:\executor\executor.exe -nosplash -nosound -applzone 5m

  45. I really only bought Linux (Official RedHat 3.0.3, Slackware 3.0 and
  46. Linux-FT) just to see if Executor would be better under it, it wasn't.
