  21. Here's a Windows95 tip that I wish was
  22. in one of the readme files that came with
  23. Executor.  It should help you get the best
  24. possible use out of Executor.  It did for me.
  25. (God knows I tried everything!)

  28. After trying 3 top notch Linux OS's with
  29. E/L (and E/D under DOS) I have come to the 
  30. conclusion that Windows95 is the best way
  31. to run Executor.

  33. With a shortcut on my desktop to the executor.exe
  34. file and the following "Properties" set, you can't
  35. go wrong (even with 8 meg of ram).

  37. The "Memory" tab;
  38.  
  39. Conventional Memory-Auto
  40. Initial Environment-Auto
  41. Expanded(EMS)memory-None
  42. Extended(XMS)memory-None
  43. MS-DOS protected-mode(DPMI)memory-13312

  45. And these command line switches;
  46. eg: c:\executor\executor.exe -nosplash -nosound -applzone 5m
  47.  
  48. I really only bought Linux (Official RedHat 3.0.3, Slackware 3.0 and
  49. Linux-FT) just to see if Executor would be better under it, it wasn't.
