  15. Here's a Windows95 tip that I wish was
  16. in one of the readme files that came with
  17. Executor.  It should help you get the best
  18. possible use out of Executor.  It did for me.
  19. (God knows I tried everything!)
  20.
  21.
  22. After trying 3 top notch Linux OS's with
  23. E/L (and E/D under DOS) I have come to the
  24. conclusion that Windows95 is the best way
  25. to run Executor.
  26.
  27. With a shortcut on my desktop to the executor.exe
  28. file and the following "Properties" set, you can't
  29. go wrong (even with 8 meg of ram).
  30.
  31. The "Memory" tab;
  32.
  33. Conventional Memory-Auto
  34. Initial Environment-Auto
  35. Expanded(EMS)memory-None
  36. Extended(XMS)memory-None
  37. MS-DOS protected-mode(DPMI)memory-13312
  38.
  39. And these command line switches;
  40. eg: c:\executor\executor.exe -nosplash -nosound -applzone 5m
  41.
  42. I really only bought Linux (Official RedHat 3.0.3, Slackware 3.0 and
  43. Linux-FT) just to see if Executor would be better under it, it wasn't.
  44.
  45. I hope I helped somebody;)
