  16. Hello everyone!
  17. Last day I donwloaded Q8 and tried under  a beta version of W96. It worked
  18. strange, but worked. Strange means that some appls hanged when they never
  19. have done it and so on!
  20.  
  21. But yesterday I return to my original W95, deleting all the HD and
  22. reinstalling all the apps again, including 99q and q8. Under MS-DOs it
  23. worked perfect, but
  24. ALL the times i have loaded from W95 it has hanged everything!

  26. I have reinstalled it several times, deleted all my volumes (even when under
  27. MS-DOS they worked perfectly). I have removed my Zip drives and soft, tried
  28. the -nosound switch, and installed univbe 5.1 with no success.

  30. I have installed Q7 and try it under W95 and works perfect, just double
  31. clicking! on the icon. I have installed Q8 again and it hangs all my W95. I
  32. just hear the sound that makes when accesing to A: drive, then see the zip
  33. light on and off, 
  34. the Cd light on and off and...Hanged.
  35.  
  36. To be exact the sound that makes when accesing to my A: is not the same that
  37. q7 and all did.
  38. The normal sound is in two parts:
  39. a little one, just like the one you hear when you access the drive and there
  40. is no disk inside
  41.  
  42. and a long one (3,4 secons).
  43.  
  44. I hear only the 1st one under q8.
  45.  
  46. Any ideas?
