- Neither of these solutions seems to work under E/D v1.99o, FWIW. Setting
- the refresh rate via ALT-SHIFT-5 puts E/D into some kind of hold state
- (the mouse pointer flashes periodically, and no input is accepted either
- via keyboard or mouse).

- Is VESA 2.0 required to use refresh? Or are there other settings (like
- timer ON/OFF) that might affect it?
