  20. Neither of these solutions seems to work under E/D v1.99o, FWIW.  Setting
  21. the refresh rate via ALT-SHIFT-5 puts E/D into some kind of hold state
  22. (the mouse pointer flashes periodically, and no input is accepted either 
  23. via keyboard or mouse).

  25. Is VESA 2.0 required to use refresh?  Or are there other settings (like 
  26. timer ON/OFF) that might affect it?
