  24. Neither of these solutions seems to work under E/D v1.99o, FWIW.  Setting
  25. the refresh rate via ALT-SHIFT-5 puts E/D into some kind of hold state
  26. (the mouse pointer flashes periodically, and no input is accepted either 
  27. via keyboard or mouse).

  29. Is VESA 2.0 required to use refresh?  Or are there other settings (like 
  30. timer ON/OFF) that might affect it?
